Privacy Policy

This School is operated by Melodías Music Mindfulness Academy, the trade name of Harmonious Vibes LLC (the “School”). This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the School collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users of the School — the parents or legal guardians who hold an account (each, a “Client”) and the students enrolled by them (each, a “Student”). This Privacy Policy applies to the School, all Courses offered by the School, and the in-home music lesson services coordinated through it.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Clients in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Clients enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Because our lessons are provided in the Client's home, the enrollment and coordination process may also include the home address where lessons will take place, contact telephone and WhatsApp numbers, preferred days and times, and — when voluntarily shared by the Client — information about a Student's learning needs or preferences that helps us tailor instruction. Visitors may browse the School anonymously. We will collect personal identification information only when it is voluntarily submitted to us. Clients can refuse to supply personal identification information, but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School-related activities or from receiving in-home lesson services.

Children's privacy

Most of our Students are minors. All personal information concerning a minor Student is provided to the School by the Student's parent or legal guardian, who holds and manages the account. The School does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and all communications regarding enrollment, scheduling, and billing are conducted exclusively with the parent or legal guardian.

How we use collected information

The School may collect and use personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and coordinate in-home lesson services. Home address, contact, and scheduling information is used exclusively to coordinate, confirm, and provide music lessons at the location agreed upon with the Client.
  • To improve customer service. Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
  • To personalize the learning experience. Information voluntarily shared about a Student's needs or preferences is used solely to adapt instruction, and we may use information in the aggregate to understand how the services and resources provided in our School are used.
  • To send periodic emails. We may use Client email addresses to send information and updates pertaining to enrollment, scheduling, and billing. Email addresses may also be used to respond to inquiries, questions, or other requests.

Payments

Payments for the enrollment fee and the recurring class subscription are processed through the School's online enrollment platform and its payment processors. The School does not store or have access to complete credit or debit card numbers. Billing information is handled by the payment processors in accordance with their own privacy and security policies and applicable payment industry security standards.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent personal identification information to others. Within the School, home address, access, and scheduling information, as well as any information concerning a Student, is shared only with the instructor assigned to the Student and with the School's coordination staff, strictly to the extent necessary to provide the services, and under a duty of discretion and confidentiality. Our instructors are not authorized to use or disclose Client or Student information for any purpose outside the provision of the contracted services.

Third party websites

Clients may find advertising or other content in our School that links to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors, and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our School, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The School may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page, and material changes will be communicated to Clients by email. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll in the School.
